Manufactured Home Foundation Certifications

Manufactured Home Foundation CertificationsIf you are selling or buying a manufactured home, then most likely a foundation certification will be required. For all FHA and VA loans, an engineer's foundation certification is required that states that the home is placed on a permanent foundation that complies with the "HUD Permanent Foundation Guide for Manufactured Homes", dated 1996 by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

InterCoastal Inspections created a partnership with Harrison Engineering, LLC, to provide our clients with a turn-key Foundation Certification process that is mandatory for qualifying loans.  We take the headache out of scheduling and get the job done quickly and efficiently.  We also have the ability to expedite your inspection and have it for you in 24-48 hours.  You place your order by going to http://www.FoundationCerts.com/order.

Single Family Home Foundation Certifications

Our team can also produce structural engineering reports for regular stick built homes (not just manufactured homes). (Note, a stick-built home, or sometimes called a site-built home, is one that is constructed on-site, like most homes in America, and not in a factory.)

Many times you will need a Professional Engineer's report for cracked foundations, water in the crawlspace area, faulty structural components, and other extraneous circumstances. This requirement for a Professional Engineer's report may be triggered from something noticed in your inspection report, from the appraisal, or someone else - like the loan underwriter.

If you are in need of a Professional Engineer's report, we can assist you from beginning to end.
